You will need your member (account) number and a password (set up your password at a Credit Union branch). You can save this website as a "favorite". Currently you can view balances, review account history, and transfer funds between accounts (including family accounts; if they have also signed up for Perfect-Teller). The programmer is still in the process of adding some other features. For those features that don't work, the screen will say, "This feature coming soon".

Perfect-Teller Online Banking
What is Perfect-Teller Online Banking? Perfect-Teller Online Banking is East Allen Federal Credit Union's newest and fastest way for you to access your account from the comfort and privacy of your home. Through our software program, you use the internet to dial into our computer to obtain current information about your account. We are excited about offering this new service to our members and we hope you will enjoy it as well. There is NO FEE for this convenient service.

TO APPLY FOR PERFECT-TELLER
Read all disclosures and have all joint account members sign the form given to you at any Credit Union branch. Return the form to either Credit Union office for approval. Once approved, we will issue a password. If you have multiple accounts, be sure to list each account you wish to access.

Perfect-Teller Online Banking Disclosure

  • Each member using the Online Banking software agrees to protect the safety and security of the software, account numbers, and passwords pertaining to this software.
  • The software must only be downloaded/used on a personal computer at home and never in a public or business computer where others have access.
  • Any discrepancies on an account will be reported to the Credit Union as soon as possible to help protect the account against fraudulent activity.
  • Each member agrees to access only the Credit Union accounts that they are authorized to transact business with.
  • Each member understands that the Credit Union may revoke Online Banking privileges at any time to protect the member's account from potential fraud activity.
  • Passwords must be a combination of at least 7 characters and digits. Please adhere to this requirement.

Electronic Funds Transfer Policy (EFT)
This notice, which is required by federal law, describes important terms and conditions under which East Allen Federal Credit Union provides certain pre-authorized transfer services to you.

Our EFT service allows designation of the type of transaction (social security, payroll deposits, insurance premiums, mortgage payment, etc.).

No charge.

No limitations on the frequency or dollar amounts of EFT transfers for share draft accounts.

Information will be disclosed to third parties about your account or transfers made:

  • Where it is necessary for completing such transfers.
  • In order to verify the existence and condition of your account for a third party (Credit Bureau, Merchant, etc.).
  • In order to comply with government agency or court orders.
  • If you give us your written permission.

Right to Receive Documentation of Transfer
If you have arranged to have transfers made to or from your account at least once every sixty days from the same person or company, you can call (260) 749-9956 to find out whether or not the transfer has been made. Periodic statements - You will receive a monthly account statement.

Liability for Failure to Make Transfer
If the Credit Union does not complete a transfer to or from your account on time, or an incorrect amount has been transferred according to our agreement, the Credit Union will be liable for losses or damages. However the Credit Union will not be liable in the following instances:

If, through no fault of ours, there is insufficient funds in the account to make the transfer;

If the transfer exceeds the credit limit of an accounts overdraft protection;

If circumstances beyond the control of the Credit Union (fire, flood, mechanical failure, etc.) prevent the transfer, despite reasonable precautions taken. There also may be other exemptions stated in the agreement with you.

In case of an error or questions regarding your EFT, call the Credit Union office immediately.

If a statement or receipt is assumed to be wrong or if you need more information about a transaction listed on a statement or receipt you must notify the Credit Union within sixty (60) days after the FIRST statement on which the alleged error or question appears.

An oral request, about an error or question, may be required to be sent in writing within ten (10) business days. The result of an investigation will be given within ten (10) business days after the Credit Union has received a complaint and a correction of any error will be done promptly. If more time is needed, the Credit Union may take up to forty-five (45) days to investigate a complaint or a question. If a request has been made for the complaint to be placed in writing and the written complaint has not been received within ten (10) business days, the account may not be re-credited.

If it is decided that there was no error, a written explanation will be sent within three (3) business days after the investigation is completed. Copies of the documents used in the investigation may be requested.

STOP PAYMENTS ON PREAUTHORIZED TRANSFERS
If you told us in advance to make regular payments out of your account, you may place a stop payment by contacting us at the Credit Union by calling or writing.

Your request must be received three (3) business days or more before the payment is scheduled to be made. If your request has been done orally, a written request may be required within fourteen (14) days after your oral request. We will charge a ten dollar ($15.00) fee for each stop payment order placed.

If regular payments vary in amount, the receiving party of your payment should inform you of the amount and date of payment ten (10) days prior to each payment.

If you order us to place a stop payment on a preauthorized transfer it must be requested three (3) business days or more before the transfer is scheduled. Failure to enforce a stop payment (after proper procedure has been completed by a member) results in the Credit Union's liability for losses or damages.

Preauthorized transfers that are returned to the Federal Reserve Bank due to insufficient funds in your account, will be assessed a fifteen dollar ($15.00) fee for each item returned.
